A key in their hand
We pay first month's rent, deposits, and application fees so our neighbors can walk through their own front door — often within days, not months.
We take our neighbors off the street and give them what they actually need — a key, a meal, and a doctor. Rent is the wall between a sidewalk and a future. Help us tear it down.

Every dollar goes directly to securing leases. $1,200 houses one person for an entire month with full medical and food support. Support the fund on Buy Me a Coffee.

Our community kitchen serves dignified, fresh meals — no lines around the block, no judgment, just a table and a plate.

Free mobile clinics for primary care, mental health, addiction support, and prescription refills. Health is the foundation of staying housed.
Most of what people "know" about homelessness is wrong. Here is the data, and what we see on the street every day.
"They choose to live on the street."
Almost no one chooses exposure, hunger, or fear. People become unhoused after a medical bill, a job loss, a divorce, or a rent hike. It's a system, not a personality.
"It's just about drugs and alcohol."
Roughly 70% of the people we serve were employed when they lost their housing. Addiction is often a response to trauma — not the original cause of homelessness.
"Giving them money doesn't help."
Housing First programs (rent, then services) show 80%+ retention after two years. Stable housing makes recovery, work, and health possible.
"It's a big-city problem."
Homelessness is rising fastest in suburbs and small towns. Your neighbor sleeping in a car may have lived on your block last year.

Of every dollar goes direct to clients
We keep overhead low and transparency high. Here's how every dollar is spent — and the progress your giving has made possible so far.
92¢ of every dollar goes directly to clients. The remaining 8¢ covers payment processing, insurance, and the small staff that keeps the doors open.
32 neighbors moved from emergency shelters into permanent housing with full leases in their names.
A nurse practitioner now visits three sites weekly, providing wound care, prescriptions, and referrals.
The community kitchen hit a milestone — every meal served with dignity, no questions asked.
12 property owners now accept our clients with guaranteed rent and 24/7 case support.
Each lease requires first month's rent and a security deposit. Once we have the funds, we can move people indoors within 48 hours.
From the neighbors we house to the donors who make it possible — hear why this work matters.
"I stopped sleeping in my truck because strangers on the internet decided I was worth a door that locks. The first night in my apartment, I slept twelve hours. I hadn't slept through the night in three years."

"I donate monthly because I know exactly where the money goes. The receipts are clear, the updates are honest, and they move people indoors fast. That's the kind of nonprofit I want to fund."

"They didn't just hand me a key. They helped me get my ID, my prescriptions, and a job interview outfit. Six months later I'm paying my own rent. This program works."

"We set up a $250 monthly gift after learning that 92 cents of every dollar goes directly to clients. It costs less than one dinner out and it keeps a neighbor housed for weeks."

Marcus worked construction for 22 years until a back injury ended his career. Six months later, he was sleeping in his truck. Twelve months later, the truck was gone too.
We covered his first month's rent and security deposit, connected him with a physical therapist, and helped him apply for vocational retraining. He's been in his apartment for 18 months. He's now a peer mentor for our outreach team.
